For the first time in more than three decades, we have the opportunity to secure an independent, self-governing college with its own Board of Trustees and to return it to national prominence as a leader in higher education. We have three very different ways to reach this goal:
The Nonstop Liberal Arts Institute is an exciting educational enrichment program developed by the Antioch College faculty that will offer seminars and courses for students and community members throughout the fall and spring. This work will be an opportunity for faculty to begin the work of developing and sustaining a curriculum that can be used when Antioch College is reclaimed. Learn more.
Independent Antioch College Through a resolution passed at the June 2008 Antioch University Board of Trustees (AUBOT) meeting, the AUBOT has requested that the Antioch College Alumni Association continue the conversation started by the Antioch College Continuation Corporation to transfer the assets from the University to the Alumni Association. At the point that an agreement is reached, a pro tem Board of Trustees will be appointed and the restoration and revitalization of Antioch College will begin.
Litigation In the event an agreement isn’t reached, the litigation strategy the College Revival Fund has been working on since last fall will be activated.
